In an editorial, The Riverside (California) Press-Enterprise asks that age old question: Why can't anyone fix the Individual Indian Money (IIM) trust?

"What's it going to take to make the Interior Department get serious about missing Indian trust funds?"

"Really: What's up with this? Some of these trust funds are over a century old."

The paper doesn't really have answers but it has proposed a solution to try and figure the whole mess out.

"It's time to get the civil auditors out of this mess, and the criminal investigators in."

Send everyone to jail.
