MONDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2002

The Oprah Winfrey Show today will include a focus on Native Americans as part of her "Angel Network."

The program description implores viewers to "find out how we're giving a voice to the millions of Native Americans whose stories often go unheard in America. Help us build a bridge of understanding that can put us all on the road to healing."

Inside sources say Rick West, director of the National Museum of the American Indian, will appear on the show in a taped segment.
