Navajo Day declared in Utah

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2002

February 14 was declared by the state of Utah as "Discover Navajo: People of the Fourth World Day" while Salt Lake City called it "Navajo Code Talkers Day."

A ceremony was held to mark the occasion at the tribe's cultural pavilion at the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.
