It's a sound worse than nails across a chalkboard.
A sound even worse than that noise that they call hip-hop.
Yes, everyone, it's the sound of tax time. Hear it?
The horrible hissing sound of midnight oil being burned, the cursing cacophony of numbers being crunched and re-crunched, and the foul refrain of brains frying in desperation.
And then there is the sickening serenade of Uncle Sam himself, smacking his greedy lips with anticipation.
With April 15th rapidly drawing nearer, you'll all be glad to know, fellow taxpayers, that absolutely NONE of your tax dollars are being put to work in the construction of this column.
