APRIL 17, 2001 American Indians and ranchers dot a documentary premiering on a Kansas PBS affiliate tonight. "Last Stand of the Tallgrass Prairie," by Kansas City filmmakers Aimee Larrabee and John Altman, documents the vanishing ecosystem of the eastern Kansas prairie. Included are discussions by Sioux tribal elders about the prairie, which was frequented by buffalo Get the Story:
