MONDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2002 Pojoaque Pueblo in New Mexico is planning on opening its museum a year from now but there is already a flurry of activity to get the complex ready. The Poeh Museum's permanent exhibit will focus on the tribe's culture and is being put together from the perspective of tribal elders. Dozens of interviews with elders have been conducted and taped for visitors to listen. Associated with the museum is the Poeh Center. It serves as as a launching pad for Native artists, giving them training and exposure to turn their skills into a marketable career. Get the Story:
