Several top officials, including the president, have left the Northwest Indian College on the Lummi Reservation in Washington.

President Tommy Lewis left in January, along with his administrative assistant and two vice presidents. Barbara Roberts, the dean of instruction, is serving as interim president.

Tribal officials last August had ordered a review of the college's finances. There had been allegations of financial mismanagement of grant money but Lewis said the college wasn't at risk.

Lewis was the school's first Native president.
