The Abbe Museum in Bar Harbor, Maine, is hosting an exhibit featuring Penobscot items from a private collection.

Frank Siebert is known for his work on the Penobscot language. But until he died in 1998, his collection of artifacts dating back to the 19th century wasn't known.

Siebert's daughter has arranged for a long term loan of 130 items.
