Young can barely contain himself on ANWR

Last week, Rep. Don Young (R-Alaska) could barely resist labeling a fellow colleague's description of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge a four-letter expletive The Anchorage Daily News saw fit to censor, sort of.

This time around, Young isn't talking dung, at least not directly. But at a House Resources Committee on Tuesday, he had some choice words to say about Rep. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) and his attempt to prevent the refuge from oil and gas development.

"My biggest challenge today is not to either (start) crying or laughing at the last presentation. ... Mr. Markey, I do not believe you've ever been to ANWR, have you?" he wondered.

Young later praised the committee for approving a bill to open up the refuge to drilling.
