Vice President Dick Cheney has again refused to turn over information about the development of the Bush administration's energy policy.

A letter Cheney's lawyer sent to the General Accounting Office reiterated the refusal to release documents and other information about the task force. The GAO has repeatedly demanded the information as part of a Congressional probe requested by Reps. John D. Dingell (D-Mich.) and Henry A. Waxman (D-Calif.)

The GAO could sue the White House to get the records. The White House believes it has a strong defense.
