The Department of Interior's Board of Land Appeals has ordered the Bureau of Land Management to rewrite parts of a gas drilling plan in Wyoming.

The board said the plan has to consider ways to minimize damage to the Red Desert. Five energy companies want to drill up to 56 gas wells on the land, which environmentalists oppose.
