Three environmental groups are asking the Department of Interior to turn over documents on drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

The groups want to know about recent discussions regarding oil and gas development. In particular, they want to find out who may have met with Secretary of Interior Gale Norton's top advisers to discuss drilling.

The request was made under the freedom of information act.
