President Bill Clinton on Thursday urged women to receive breast cancer screeening with the enactment of the Breast and Cervical Cancer Act of 2000.

The Act provides treatment options for women who don't have medical insurance. It builds on a nationwide program which offers free screening to low-income women.

Clinton also encouraged federal workers to take time off from work to get screened for cancers and other diseases.
