Diva #3: Sharon Blackwell, Bureau of Indian Affairs Deputy Commissioner

This Omaha Nation / Mvscogee Creek Diva is fairly new to her post, but not to the Washington, DC, area. She comes from a high-powered family whose members hold other positions in federal government, namely her son, Geoffery, who is a legal eagle over at the FCC.

In what could be a partnership of epic proportions, these two could truly bridge for the digital divide. But in typical diva fashion, Blackwell seems more interested in celebrating the 175th anniversary of the BIA, which was two years ago.

But who's counting? In The Hoop, of course.

Diva Forecast: Where is this Diva going? Right now, look for her to stay right where she is at. This Diva likes being behind the scenes and not on the front lines, but you had better not forget about this Omaha Diva because she is there when the important decisions are made.
