Mark Sebastian, the vice chairman of the tribe whose recognition efforts are the target of criticism by a number of Connecticut officials, on Monday said the Eastern Pequot Tribe doesn't support a call for a moratorium on all tribal recognitions.

Sebastian did say, however, the tribe supports reforming the process. He was responding to Senator Chris Dodd (D-Conn), who called on the Department of Interior to rescind the preliminary decision to recognize the Eastern Pequot Tribe yesterday.
