Suspended Seminole Nation Chief Jerry Haney told the Daily Oklahoman he is planning to sue the Oklahoma tribal officials who ousted him from his position over the weekend.

Haney says he was voted out because he was probing into the tribe's gaming operation. Half of the members of the tribe's gaming commission are also on the tribal council, who removed him on Saturday.
