Chief Jim Billie sues to get job back

JUNE 6, 2001 Suspended Seminole Chief Jim Billie has filed a lawsuit against the Florida tribe to get his job back, said his lawyer on Tuesday. Billie wants a federal court to reinstate his job and give him back pay. He says the tribal council cannot just suspend him like it did on May 24. Get the Story:
