A fired nuclear employee, being held on charges he threatened fellow workers, says he is being targeted in a terrorist probe because he is Native American.

Police say they found an arms cache belonging to David Reza, 43, who allegedly threatened workers after being fired from the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station in southern California. In an interview from jail, he told The Orange County Register he is being singled out because of his long hair and Native heritage.

"I'm native American with long hair," he told the paper. "They were discriminating against me."

Reza faces charges of making terrorist threats and possession of illegal firearms and narcotics. A house he shares with his girlfriend is decorated with Indian artifacts, according to the paper.
