A new jail on the Navajo Nation is apparently not so new, despite being reported yesterday by The Farmington Daily-Times.

According to another dispatch from the paper, the jail has been talked about for years but nothing has been done about it. If built, the facility would house about 1,000 tribal and federal prisoners.
