TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2002 Mille Lacs County in Minnesota filed a lawsuit last week claiming the Mille Lacs Ojibwe Reservation has been disestablished. The county believes the 61,000-acres of the original reservation were diminished by acts of Congress. The state, which isn't involved in the lawsuit, believes the size of the reservation is at least 3,000 acres. The tribe says the federal government recognizes the full size of the reservation.
