A planned move of 32,000 cubit feet of trust fund records is being questioned by the special master in the Cobell class action.

The Office of the Special Trustee in Albuquerque, New Mexico, has decided to send the documents to a federal records center in Missouri. A memo stated the move would save costs.

But Alan Balaran says he is concerned about the transfer. In an investigation, he questioned the status of a number of trust reform projects related to records management and retention.
