MONDAY, MARCH 4, 2002 The Navajo Nation's Office of Navajo Government Development will be holding a convention in May to discuss reforming the tribal government. Delegates from throughout the nation will discuss a number of issues, many of them affecting the tribe's council. Several resolutions are being prepared, including one to set up a forth branch of government for traditional leaders and another to help prevent bad tribal business ventures. The convention will be held May 14 and 15 at Red Rock State Park. Get the Story:
