The Tigua Tribe of Texas criticized Gov. Rick Perry on Tuesday for not living up to his pledge to help casino employees find jobs.

Spokesperson Marc Schwartz also said Perry hasn't worked with the tribe on economic development alternatives to the Speaking Rock Casino, which has been declared illegal by a federal court and ordered to shut down. Perry's office denied the complaints and said he has worked with the tribe as much as possible in light of an appeal being pursued.
