A federal appeals court told the Tigua Tribe of Texas on Thursday that it won't order the Speaking Rock Casino to close until February 11.

That gives the tribe and its hundreds of employees four more days about which they can apparently do little. Spokesperson Marc Schwartz told The El Paso Times: "We don't know what this means."

The tribe has asked the full panel of the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals to allow the casino to remain open. A three-judge panel has said the casino needs to shut down.
