FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2002

A building located on a burial ground of the Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut faces an uncertain future more than two years after an agreement was signed to address development.

The city of Norwich wanted to develop the former Masonic Temple into a training center. But the tribe objected because of the cultural and historical significance.

The dispute lead to an agreement to transfer the property to the tribe. But the tribe hasn't announced plans on what to do with the building.
