The Mohegan Tribe's offer to pay $7 million for a regional Connecticut water project is gaining support.

The Southeastern Connecticut Water Authority has lent its endorsement to the concept but offered suggestions to the project. The tribe is anticipating future needs while local community requirements are more urgent.
