Mohegan Tribe seeks water for hotel

FRIDAY, APRIL 12, 2002 The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut is willing to spend $7 million on a regional water project to ensure its new hotel gets needed water. The hotel is set to open later this month. Once it does, the tribe's water use is expected to nearly double. The tribe hopes the project will ensure a long-term supply for the reservation and for the local community. Get the Story:
