Recognition of other Code Talkers sought

Although Native Americans from various tribes were Code Talkers during World War II, only the Navajo Code Talkers have gained most of the recognition.

The original Navajo Code Talkers were awarded Congressional gold medals in a law passed by Congress last month. Silver medals were awarded to those who followed, but only Navajo ones.
