Supporters of imprisoned American Indian Movement activist Leonard Peltier held a protest outside the US Courthouse in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Tuesday.

Tuesday was the 26th anniversary of the shootout at the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakot that resulted in the deaths of two FBI agents. Peltier was convicted for their murders and is serving two life sentences in federal prison in Kansas.
