N.C. lawmaker apologizes for racist e-mail

A North Carolina lawmaker on Wednesday apologized for forwarding a racist e-mail to his colleagues.

Rep. Don Davis, a white Republican, has said he didn't consider the "White men & Christianity" e-mail racist. But now he says he is sorry if it offended anyone.

Davis added that he is not racist or a white supremacist. How he received the e-mail, which originated from a white supremacist web site, is not known.
