"Regarding the federal recognition petition of the Nipmuc nation, I urge my fellow residents of northeastern Connecticut to unite and do what is right! I ask them to stop attending rallies such as that of NECOG. Is it morally right to attempt to impede the long and well deserved efforts of Nipmucs to gain acknowledgment of who they are?"
