In a short editorial, The Lincoln Journal Star today gives the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska kudos for coming up with an innovative way to sell energy to a local university.

The tribe is buying electricity at a discount through a federal program and will sell it University of Nebraska at Lincoln at market price. The difference in price when then be used to create a scholarship program for tribal students.

The paper calls this arrangement "ingenious" and "creative."
