Obituary: Haskell alumnus 103

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2002 Andrew Cuellar, the last known surviving graduate of the Carlisle Indian Industrial School in Pennsylvania, died on Monday. He was 103. Cuellar was a member of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe. He graduated from Carlisle in 1918 and went on to a career at the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Get the Story:
