Editorial: BIA driver policy

The Farmington Daily-Times criticizes the Bureau of Indian Affairs today for not adopting a policy against drunk driving earlier.

In an editorial, the paper says the policy is a "good beginning." But the paper wonders why it the deaths of four people to institute the rule to check past driving records.

"Had this policy been in place, it might have saved the lives of four people," the paper writes.
