OCTOBER 24, 2000

A plan by the Federal Communications Commission to open up the airwaves to low-power FM radio stations is facing a challenge in Congress, where both the Senate is considering legislation to postpone the program.

To require the Federal Communications Commission to revise its regulations authorizing the operation of new, low-power FM radio stations. (H.RES.472,S.2068)
