“The safest place to be is still at home here on the Navajo Nation. Contact tracers find that many new infections are caused by travel off the Navajo Nation and in-person gatherings where individuals let down their guard and do not wear masks. The choices we make each day impact our loved ones and others that we come in contact with, so please make every effort to be safe,” said Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez.

Health care facilities across the Navajo Nation continue to administer COVID-19 vaccines during drive-thru events or by appointment. If you would like to receive the vaccine, don’t hesitate to contact your health care provider for more information for your Service Unit.

“Personal responsibility is key to reducing the spread of COVID-19. Our health care experts have provided us with the guidance and knowledge to protect ourselves and others from the virus, so please remain diligent and think of others. Be safe and keep praying for our frontline workers and all of our people,” said Vice President Myron Lizer.
