“The Navajo Nation remains vigilant as neighboring states lifted COVID-19 mitigation strategies to reduce the spread. We are approaching the Easter holiday weekend, and we encourage Navajo citizens to adhere to all medical and health professionals’ advice and recommendations by mask-wearing, social distancing, and testing yourself before attending large family gatherings. We’ve come a long way in this fight against COVID-19, so please do everything you can to protect yourselves and others in order to prevent another large surge of new cases. Please be safe and remain aware,” said Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez.

Health care facilities on the Navajo Nation continue to administer COVID-19 vaccines. If you would like to receive one of the COVID-19 vaccines, please contact your health care provider and schedule an appointment.

“We are in this together and we are emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic day by day, but we must remain diligent and keep pushing forward. The vaccines are playing a big part in protecting our people and reducing the impacts of the virus. Keep praying for our people, our frontline workers, and our communities,” said Vice President Myron Lizer.
