Oklahoma City Indian Clinic to host Red Feather Gala and fundraiser

OKCIC is hosting a fundraiser to provide hearing aids to American Indians in need.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City Indian Clinic (OKCIC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit clinic providing health and wellness services to American Indians in central Oklahoma, will host the 18th annual Red Feather Gala and fundraiser on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the Oklahoma City Convention Center.

The event will include traditional Native American dancing from the Central Plains Dancers and a live paint exhibition featuring Dylan Cavin of the Choctaw Nation, as well as a live and silent auction. Funds raised will help OKCIC provide hearing aids for patients.

“American Indians have been disproportionately affected by hearing loss,” said Robyn Sunday-Allen, OKCIC’s Chief Executive Officer. “Giving our patients their hearing back can improve their mental health and quality of life.”

The silent auction portion of the event will open virtually October 31, 2022.  Auction items include Native American art and jewelry, autographed sports memorabilia and an autographed Toby Keith guitar. Register for the auction and start bidding at www.redfeathergala.com

Tickets and sponsorships are still available. Each contribution helps OKCIC give the gift of hearing to those in need. For more information, visit www.redfeathergala.com, email angie.c@okcic.com or call (405) 948-4900 ext. 621.
