The Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation is moving forward with a casino expansion project.
The tribe completed an environmental impact
report that outlines the work at the Cache Creek Casino Resort. Plans call for a nine-story hotel with 459 rooms and a pool area, a 13,350 square-foot ballroom, more dining and restaurant space, a 118-unit parking lot and nearly 103,000 square-feet of support space.
Comments on the report can be submitted from now through November 7. A public hearing is scheduled for October 13,The Woodland Daily Democrat reported.
