Catawba Tribe voting on constitution
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2002 The Catawba Nation of South Carolina is voting on a tribal constitution. The Rock Hill Herald does not describe the proposal. It would replace a 1975 constitution. There is a dispute over the constitution and the tribe's leadership. A federal court case is going to trial soon. Get the Story:
