N.M. contractor admits to stealing from BIA

The son-in-law of an ex-Bureau of Indian Affairs worker, whom a federal judge said was a "disgrace" to the Navajo Nation, has pleaded guilty to theft of government property.

Anthony Dohi admitted to stealing $48,681. He participated in a bid-rigging process with Stephen Calvin, a BIA contracts official who was recently sentenced to 18 months in jail and ordered to pay more than $240,000 in restitution.
