The Hopi Tribe of Arizona is holding a special election next week for the vice chairman post.

The election is needed because former vice chairman Elgean Joshevama was removed for neglect of duties.

The candidates in the June 25 election are Caleb Johnson, Mary Felter, Clifford Qotsaquahu, Wallace Youvella Sr., Wilbert Honahnie and Todd Honyaoma Sr. A general election will be held July 16.
