The Forest County Potawatomi Tribe of Wisconsin says a renegotiated gaming compact will result in lower payments for the state.
The tribe was expected to pay $34 million under a compact that was invalidated by the state Supreme Court. But the tribe says it will pay $6.4 million instead under an older compact.
The invalidated 99-year compact allowed for more Class III games. A new compact could reduce the number of games.
