Menominee Nation releases plans for casino

The Menominee Nation of Wisconsin released plans to convert a racetrack into a casino.

The tribe says it will create 3,300 jobs with a payroll of $138 million annually. Construction of the $164 million would create additional jobs, according to the report.

The tribe hopes to open a temporary facility at Dairyland Greyhound Park and then build a permanent casino, hotel, conference center and other amenities.
