Two Washington tribes debut new gaming facilities

Two new tribal casinos will be located within miles of one another in Washington.

The Tulalip Tribes debut a new casino today. Modeled after the Hard Rock Cafe, the Quil Ceda Creek Nightclub and Casino will feature live music every day. At 52,000 square-feet, it is much smaller than the tribe's $78 million Tulalip Casino just up the road.

Later next month, the Stillaguamish Tribe will open its first gaming facility. At 22,000 square feet, the casino offers fewer games and is expected to draw local residents.
