California tribe takes complete control of casino

The Twentynine Palms Band of Mission Indians has assumed complete control of its casino in southern California, bringing back the old name of Spotlight 29 Casino.

The tribe ended its relationship with casino mogul Donald Trump, who had a management contract for the Trump 29 Casino. A federal bankruptcy judge approved a settlement of $6 million to Trump's Hotel & Casino Resort company.

The Trump company filed for bankruptcy last year, citing $1.8 billion in debt.
