Campbell set for keynote at Southern Gaming Summit

Retired Sen. Ben Nighthorse Campbell (R-Colorado) will give the keynote at the Southern Gaming Summit in Mississippi.

Campbell's keynote on Wednesday is one of the attractions of the two-day summit. Organizers expect 5,000 to attend, about the same number reported by the National Indian Gaming Association at its recent trade show.

The summit includes a number of panels on Indian gaming. Speakers include Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians Chief Phillip Martin, San Manual Band of Mission Indians Chairman Deron Marquez and United South & Eastern Tribes President Keller George.
