Oklahoma seeks closure of Keetoowah Band casino

The state of Oklahoma was in court on Tuesday to seek the closure of the United Keetoowah Band's casino.

The state says the casino is operating illegally. According to The Oklahoman, it is located on land that is not held in trust.

The tribe counters that the land is part of a "dependent Indian community." Under federal law, it could be considered Indian Country.
