Mayor to meet with BIA on off-reservation casino

The mayor of Milwaukee is meeting with the Bureau of Indian Affairs today to discuss the Forest County Potawatomi Tribe's off-reservation casino.

The tribe already has a casino outside of Milwaukee but officials are considering moving it to a downtown location. Mayor Tom Barrett supports the move and is meeting with George Skibine, the BIA official in charge of gaming, to discuss it.

The tribe hasn't formally proposed moving the casino.
