Pauma Band and Hard Rock end $250M casino deal

The Pauma Band of Luiseńo Indians and Hard Rock have decided not to pursue a $250 million casino.

Pauma Chairman Chris Devers said the two sides couldn't come to agreement. He said the tribe would look for another casino partner.

The Pauma Band operates a casino but wants to expand. The tribe signed a new compact with Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
